Yesterday Digital foundry compared Crash Bandicoot 4 for PS5 and Nintendo Switch, which at that time were called the “best” and “worst” versions of the platformer, but other enthusiasts managed to compare the options for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
The results are interesting: on both consoles the dynamic resolution is from 2052p to 2160p, but on the Xbox the average is slightly higher. The performance is the same – stable 60 frames per second.
However, there were some oddities: the quality of the shadows on the PS5 is better. The download times are almost the same, although on the PS5 it is a little faster.
It is also worth noting the size of the game on different platforms – the situation here is interesting.
- PS4 – 45GB
- Xbox One – 30GB
- Xbox Series – 25GB
- PS5 – 20GB
- Nintendo Switch – 10.5 GB
