As part of the Streamfest 2023 festival, which took place in Moscow from 7 to 8 August, the #FANBATTL cosplay contest from the FAN film channel was held. 12 participants took the stage in completely different characters: from Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5 to the Plague Doctor. The appearance of the cosplayers and their fashion shows were evaluated by a jury – they had to choose the winner, who got the Nintendo Switch console. Prize received Oh_shame, which showed the audience the costume of the death knight Acherus from World of Warcraft.

Cosplay Model and Jury Member Anastasia Nancy Novikova shared her impressions of the competition with us:
“For the first time in my life, I was on the jury of a cosplay competition – I was a little nervous, and it’s still a little said. I enjoyed my time studying costumes, watching performances and listening to a short Q&A with each contestant.
There were not many cosplayers, but everyone was remembered, and it took us not so long to decide on the winner. The performance and presentation of Oh_shame in her costume of the death knight Acherus from WoW left no one indifferent from the jury. She also walked away the whole fest in whitish lenses, in which nothing is visible. I also note the incredibly complex costume of Sindragosa and the quality of the Akali costume – the blade actually felt the hours spent with sandpaper. Well, our studio decided to celebrate Akaomy with her Virtual YouTubers costume. I love it when a person genuinely gets used to the role, and not just demonstrates the costume, which was felt in the performance of this girl. We gave her a certificate for any studio services. If he does not come to us, he will be able to use it for retouching, sewing, craft and the like.
I myself have been Gadget throughout the fest partly for the same reason: she is close to me as a character – inventive, reddish, always in a hurry somewhere. And when you do not have the opportunity to constantly control your behavior, and we were leading a rather difficult stand, it seems to me that this is the best option. “
