It all depends on how the pandemic develops and what negative impact it will have on the economy. So far, we see that people began to spend more on games, because they sit at home and are bored. This is a good sign for game creators, including CD Projekt.

The problem is that a pandemic can hit the economy. If the global economy falls into a deep recession, then people will have to severely cut spending. And the first to go under the knife are video games – players will prefer to save money for a rainy day, or they will be missed. In this case, sales of projects such as Cyberpunk do not live up to expectations.
