August 16 corporation Intel announced the brand Arc, under which it will produce high-performance video cards for stationary PCs, laptops and workstations.
The first generation will be based on the X microarchitecturee HPG codenamed Alchemist (previously – DG2). This line will receive support for hardware ray tracing in real time, technology supersampling based on artificial intelligence, as well as DirectX 12 Ultimate.
In addition, Intel has revealed the codenames for the next generation of Arc-branded graphics cards: Battlemage, Celestial and Druid. The corporation is going to provide more details in the coming months.
