In 2009, the rare system was in the hands of Terry Diebold, who bought it without knowing it, along with a number of other things for $ 75 – the company where he worked went bankrupt, and various office items packed in boxes were sold among employees.
In 2015, his son Dan was sorting trash in the attic and accidentally discovered a prototype console literally in a garbage box.. Realizing that this is a real treasure, he talked about the find on Reddit. Later, the prefix was launched, after which Dybold and his son traveled to various exhibitions for several years and showed rarity to the world. Now they have decided to sell.
Interestingly, earlier the owners were offered $ 1.2 million for the prototype (more than 75 million rubles), but they refused to sell it for that kind of money.
