Codemasters considers DiRT 5 a “new era” of racing simulations - review

Not so long ago company Codemasters announced DiRT 5, another part of its famous off-road racing simulators. And now she began to tell details about the future game. And even released a presentation plan for various aspects of DiRT 5.

The first item of this plan has already been completed: the developers published a video diary in which they shared their vision of the new game and told how they want to save and develop the spirit of the series in it. According to the creators, DiRT 5 represents a new era of extreme racing.

Two teams spoke about DiRT 5 at once: Codemasters Southam, known for DiRT Rally 2.0, and Codemasters Cheshire, directly working on the new part of DiRT. And they called their main goal to maintain a balance between the usual and expected aspects of the game and innovation.

DIRT 5 will be released in October on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, it will also be released on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. A game will appear on Google Stadia in early 2023. Before the release, the authors of the game plan to talk about their careers and multiplayer modes, they are also preparing a surprise in August.
