Two days later Square enix will release a patch for the computer version NieR: Automata… The update will improve cutscenes and add HDR support.
The developers will implement the game in full-screen borderless mode, Fidelity FX CAS and Global Illumination, adjust anti-aliasing, and add user interface textures in 4K resolution.
Videos will now play at 60 frames per second and display in the correct aspect ratio, players will be able to switch between full screen and windowed modes by pressing the Alt and Enter keys at the same time, and the mouse cursor will no longer be displayed when using a gamepad.
In addition, performance will be improved, and the frequency is stabilized at around 60 frames per second.
NieR: Automata was released on Steam on February 23, 2017. This will be the first major patch for the game in over four years.
