Dutch studio Blue box game announced its new project, a horror survival game Abandoned… So far, development is in the early stages, and they promise to tell more about the gameplay.
The main character of Abandoned, Jason Longfield, wakes up in an unfamiliar forest. He doesn’t remember how he got here. But he soon finds out that he was kidnapped and brought here for bad purposes. And he needs to get out by all means.
The creators of the game emphasize realism: this is not a dynamic shooter, players will have to rely more on tactics than on reaction. And the situation affects the hero: if he gets tired or freezes, it is more difficult to aim. All this will be transmitted through the DualSense controllers.
Abandoned will be released in the fourth quarter of 2023 only on PlayStation 5. The creators promise a frame rate of 60 at 4K resolution and a minimum of loading screens.
