AeroBox is based on an eight-core processor AMD A9-9280, which, according to the manufacturer, is a “new seventh generation chip.” It is devoid of multithreading, and the clock frequency is 2.35 GHz. The processor is paired with a graphics chip Radeon R7 350 (frequency up to 985 MHz).
According to the Chinese manufacturer, the processor power is approximately equal Intel Core i5-4300Y in multicore mode and Core i3-6006U in single core.
The source clarified that there are oddities in the specifications. The motherboard, for example, is equipped with four memory slots, which is unusual given the size at the microATX level. The device uses a SATA 3 solid-state drive, but the picture in the advertising materials shows the HP EX900 SSD type M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe.
On the back panel there are outdated PS2 ports, as well as DVI video output. Either these are just mistakes, or the new PC will be partly a “guest from the past”.
The novelty case, it is alleged, can be placed horizontally and vertically, and at first sales will only go on the Japanese market. Price not reported.
