Company Valve published a global sales chart by revenue in Steam for the week ended January 31st.
Surprisingly, the leaders of the rating this time were two games from Chinese indie developers: a space simulator Dyson Sphere Program and openworld sandbox Tale of Immortal… The latter is currently only available in simplified Chinese, while in terms of the number of concurrent users it is still one of the best releases of the coming year – in just 4 days from the moment of release, the novelty reached 124 thousand online players at its peak.
In addition to Tale of Immortal, the week that ended also saw the release of The medium from the Polish studio Blooper Team, however, despite the developers’ statement about a successful start in the top ten of the chart, the horror failed to break through…
Cyberpunk 2077 meanwhile continues to hold the fifth line of the list. Rust has dropped from first to fourth in the last seven days, and current discounts have helped Ori and the Will of the Wisps will return to the top 10. The game can now be purchased for only 169 rubles (-67%).
