Official Japanese Website “Crocodile Genes and his friends” started broadcasting a new 3D anime called “Cheburashka – Tomodati Mitsuketa -“ (“Cheburashka –I found a friend–”) The short is the first CG anime franchise. Cheburashka was played by Rie Kugimiya, and Gena was played by Takahiro Sakurai.
“Cheburashka –Tomodati Mitsuketa–” is only part of a larger project dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the 2010 Japanese film based on “Crocodile Genes and His Friends”. Studio is responsible for the production of anime Zentoy and Yayoi Nagano. Yu Nagasaki (the second ending of the anime “Fruit Basket” 2019) removed the tape and wrote the script. The animation team consists of Takeshi Imatsu, Toshimasa Narita and Satomi Itiyanagi.
