Capcom presented a development plan Street Fighter V: Champion Edition for the fifth and final season, in which the roster of the fighting game will add five characters.
The last fighter will be released in the fall of 2023, but his identity is still kept secret. Street Fighter V: Champion Edition Roadmap for Season Five:
Winter 2023
- New character: Dan + 4 costumes.
- New arena: Capcom Pro Tour 2023 Stage.
- New costumes: Sport Costumes (x3), Nostalgia Costume, Capcom Pro Tour 2023 Costumes (x2), Fan Design Costumes (x2).
- New mechanics.
- Balance changes.
Spring 2023
- New character: Rose + 5 costumes.
- New arena: Rose Stage.
- New Costumes: Professional Costumes (x3).
Summer 2023
- New character: Oro + 3 costumes.
- New character: Akira Kazama + 5 costumes.
- New arena: Akira Kazama Stage.
Autumn 2023
- New character: ??? + 3 suits.
- New arena: Capcom Pro Tour 2023 Stage.
- New Costumes: Capcom Pro Tour 2023 Costumes (x3).
- Balance changes.
Now in Street Fighter V: Champion Edition for Steam and PlayStation 4 has a free trial. The promotion will end on August 20.
