Company Cd projekt not going to release Cyberpunk 2077 as a starting game Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X. This was announced by senior vice president of business development Michal Novakovsky in a report to investors.
In the Q & A phase, investors asked CD Projekt if there would be a Cyberpunk 2077 “Immediately available” on new consoles or a company, it will take some time to complete the next generation version after the systems launch.
“As for the Microsoft console, as I said, we have officially confirmed both the update and the crossgen, which means that you can play the game from the very beginning on the next generation of Xbox,” said Novakovsky. “However, when it comes to the full-fledged version of the game for next-generation consoles, which will appear later, we did not announce the date, and I don’t have a new comment on this now.”
All Xbox One game purchasers will be able to download the Cyberpunk 2077 update to work on the Xbox Series X for free. This can not be said about the PlayStation.
“It is the PlayStation that must first solve these problems, and then we will be happy to make a comment,” Novakovsky added.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on PC, Xbox one and Playstation 4 September 17th.
