In the new trailer, the developers showed how the updated versions of games with 3DS, which premiered in 2015 and 2017, look like. We can see how Ryunosuke Naruhodo, the ancestor of the famous lawyer Phoenix Wright, operates in Victorian Britain.
As in other games in the series, the gameplay is divided into investigation and appearances in court. Players will have to visit the crime scene, find evidence and interview witnesses. After that, a new mechanic awaits us, “The Dance of Deduction”: we will have to point out the inaccuracy of Scholmes’s hasty conclusions in order to understand what really happened.
New mechanics will appear in the courtroom as well. After the trial, the Final Exam awaits us: our attorney will have to point out inconsistencies in the jury’s statements in order to move the case forward.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles collection launches in Europe on July 27th on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Steam… Acceptance of pre-orders has already started.
