Capcom games sell about the same on PS4 and PC – review addiction

Capcom published a fresh Q&A session with investors, where she shared interesting details of the company.

For example, now the average sales of the company’s games by platform are: 35% each on PS4 and PC, and 15% each on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

At the same time, the share of sales in digital stores continues to increase – in the future, the publisher plans to have 90% of sales in digital. Share of remake sales Resident evil 3 in “digital”, for example, it was 60%.

This is surprising given that this year, 4 out of 5 games from the publisher were bought from digital stores – although it seems that this growth was facilitated by Monster Hunter: World and expansion Iceborne

Capcom also talked about games that sold well from April to June, but were not mentioned in the reports – these are Resident evil 4, Resident evil 5, Resident evil 6, Dragon’s dogma and Devil may cry 5

The publisher was also asked about price increases for games for new consoles, but the company has nothing concrete to say so far.

Capcom’s next major release will be Resident evil 8 – It will be released in 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC.
