Bought a TV – got access to the latest games: LG announced support for Google Stadia and NVIDIA GeForce NOW

Modern smart TV companies Lg already this year will receive full support for two streaming services at once – Google Stadia and NVIDIA GeForce NOW… This is reported with reference to the press service of the manufacturer. TechRadar

At the start in 2019, Google Stadia worked with large screens exclusively through a media player Chromecast, but now the system is simplified – just have a TV in your home.

Google’s cloud platform started off modestly, but the war for consumers is just beginning, Western journalists say. Stadia now offers access to hits such as Cyberpunk 2077, Destiny 2 and Assassin’s creed valhalla

As for NVIDIA, its service operates on a different model from Stadia, in fact it is a virtual computer on which you can run games purchased from digital PC stores such as Steam, and control them using a controller or keyboard and mouse.

Previously, GeForce NOW was launched on mobile platforms and PCs, and now NVIDIA is expanding its field of activity. In Russia, the platform is presented at GFN.RU.

LG does not forget about traditional gaming either. TechRadar said the manufacturer’s 2023 OLED TVs boast less than 1ms input lag and NVIDIA G-Sync adaptive sync technology when connected. PC

Models of 2023, calculated also for work with Playstation 5 and Xbox series x, received four HDMI 2.1 ports, VRR support and a “Game Optimizer” function.

Google Stadia will launch on LG TVs in Q2 2023, and GeForce NOW towards the end of 2023.

Electronic Arts believes that in the future, consoles may also turn into common applications for modern TVs.
