Bots will be added to the console version of PUBG

The authors of the “royal battle” PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds rejoiced at what heights and skills players have achieved over the past 3 years. At the same time, the developers regretted that “many newcomers are eliminated before even one murder is committed.”

“They don’t even have time to do damage,” the developers complain.

The creators of PUBG hope to restore the balance of power by introducing bots into the console version of the game. The latter will appear with the release of update number 7.1. The developers promise to program them properly, so that they have only a positive impact on the game.

The authors promise in the coming months to introduce machine learning methods and continue to monitor how people play in order to train bots to behave more or less realistic.

“We hope that the introduction of bots will help new players get more practice in shooting and killing, increase their average survival time and, possibly, even get this first exciting chicken dinner!”, The PUBG team writes in its message to the community.

The console version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was released on the Xbox One in early access in December 2017, and the next year it was followed by a full release for Xbox One and PS4.
