Non-player characters Fallout 76that appeared with the update Wastelanders, began to rob the corpses of players. This has already been seen previously in the projects of the series.
As reported Pc gamer, users encountered this while completing the Riding Shotgun and Radiation Rumble missions. When a player dies, NPCs run to his corpse and take out equipment, including ammunition and weapons. So users will forever lose what they had, because non-player characters cannot be killed or robbed.
Bethesda game studios already confirmed that this is a bug. The team is working to fix it.
