On August 13, after coping with a number of technical problems, the studio uploaded a vague, three-second Abandoned intro video into its app… Kahraman admitted that he understands the frustration of the public and asked to wait for the big videos.
“I understood that with such a short teaser we would disappoint people, but I want to conclude that we are preparing more content now. [для приложения]”.
According to Kahraman, initially the studio was going to launch the application with a 30-second teaser, but at the most inopportune moment it had problems with the engine.…
“We just didn’t have time, so we had to cut everything out and leave only 4-5 seconds of finished material.”
In the future, Blue Box Game Studios hopes to update the in-app introductory video. She recommends not uninstalling Abandoned: Realtime Experience from the console and watching for further updates, however if you are sorely lacking space, you can get rid of it and then download it again – when the team is ready to show more.
Kahraman is aware that his studio needs to start showing Abandoned gameplay as soon as possible, because many users are nervous.
“On the one hand, there are people who are angry about Abandoned. On the other hand, there are people who are just looking forward to our game. Some users are skeptical. They write that Abandoned does not exist. And honestly, I understand their feelings, because we haven’t shown anything. “
Blue Box Game Studios wants to make a good impression on the public with Abandoned’s gameplay. The first show is the most important one.
“When will this happen? I don’t know, but you won’t have to wait too long. A couple of months, definitely not a whole block.”
The head of the studio also explained Blue Box Game Studios’ troubled story lack of experience in the early stages of the studio’s existence; and a lack of a professional PR manager.
The free-to-play game The Haunting will be released alongside the gameplay preview of Abandoned on PlayStation, Xbox and PC… Blue Box Game Studios once worked on it and then handed it over to their partners.
