Company Blizzard Entertainment revealed the exact timing of the launch of the technical alpha Diablo II: Resurrected on a PC.
Diablo II Remake Test Phase Launches 9th April and will offer for familiarization the first two acts of the story campaign (“The Invisible Eye” and “Secrets of the Wizards”) and three classes of characters: Amazon, Barbarian and Sorceress. Alpha will end 12th April at 20:00 in Moscow.
A limited number of players who have registered in advance on the official Diablo II: Resurrected website will be able to take part in the test… Alpha invitations will be sent out multiple times this Friday, starting at 5pm.
The developers have clarified that the progress made during the first alpha will not be carried over to further stages of testing and the final release. Other limitations of the test version: required internet connection, lack of updated game clips and inability to import saves from the original Diablo II.
Alpha system requirements:
The second phase of testing will offer more classes, multiplayer and will take place on all platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The timing of its launch has not yet been announced.
