Bethesda.net store revealed a version of DOOM Eternal without Denuvo protection – review

As you know, in Steam version Doom eternal cracking technology is used Denuvo. However, it seems to apply only there. And in the version for Bethesda.net found a “defenseless” version, which is smaller than on Steam, but it allows you to run the game.

As the user reported on Reddit, he was able to replace the file and launch the action movie through an account created from scratch in Bethesda.net. In this mode, at least a single player campaign is available. As noted, a file without protection has a capacity of 67 MB less than with protection. However, there is no data on the difference in performance.
The company with RAGE 2 and the action movie already had a similar thing. There also were similar differences between the versions on Steam and Bethesda.net. It is possible that in the future the publisher will decide to get rid of the protection completely.
