Bethesda: Indiana Jones Game Is In Very, Very Early Development

GameSpot hosted a special Play For All event this week, which included talks and interviews with developers from across the industry. One of the invited guests was the Senior Vice President Bethesda Softworks in Global Marketing and Public Relations Pete Hines

Speaking to reporters, Hines confirmed that the Indiana Jones game is “in a very, very, very early stage of development.”… However, he further noted that this should not come as a surprise to anyone.

“The team is working on the Indiana Jones game that we announced earlier this year. Since the announcement came just recently, you can obviously guess how far it has come.”

A game based on “Indiana Jones” was announced in January this year with a short video. The project is produced by Todd Howard, and development is carried out by forces MachineGames, known for restarting the shooter Wolfenstein. There are almost no details, but from the debut teaser, fans were able to learn that the action could unfold in Rome in 1937, that is, in the interval between the events of The Lost Ark and The Last Crusade.
