Bethesda has named the timing of the console exclusivity of Deathloop on the PlayStation 5

Shooter Announced in June Deathloop from the authors of Dishonored will be a temporary console exclusive Playstation 5 within one year from the date of release. Bethesda has shared this information in the latest material on the game on its website

Deathloop will be released as a PlayStation 5 console exclusive in Q2 2023 and will run at 4K / 60 FPS at launch. At the same time, the game will appear on PC (Exclusive for PS5 is valid for a limited time. The project will be available on other consoles one year after release).

Deathloop takes place on Black Reef Island. The time loop that has swallowed this place makes local residents live the same day over and over again, which is used by those who crave eternal youth and endless amusements. However, Colt – the main character – is the only one on the island who doesn’t care about fun, as only he is trying to get out of an endless loop. To do this, he needs to eliminate all eight ideologues, because of whom the day repeats over and over again, and they, in turn, want to kill Colt with all their might. If he succeeds in his task, he can break the loop and leave Black Reef. At his disposal: eight targets, scattered across different parts of the island, and only one day to finish them off.

In addition to Deathloop, PlayStation 5 will release another temporary console exclusive from Bethesda Softworks – a mystical action movie GhostWire: Tokyodeveloped by Shinji Mikami and his studio Tango Gameworks.
