In conversation with the Japanese edition Inside games head of PlatinumGames Atsushi Inaba noted that fans will soon learn more about Bayonetta 3. In addition, according to studio president Kenichi Sato, the beginning of this year will be the time when the studio makes several important announcements. What kind of announcements the Japanese are preparing is still unknown, but if you compare these two messages, you can safely assume that there will soon be fresh news about the long-awaited Nintendo Switch exclusive.
Bayonetta 3 was announced as a short teaser trailer for The Game Awards 2017however, since then PlatinumGames has no longer shared any additional information or materials on the game. Last year studio toldthat the production of the long-awaited action “has undergone some changes based on the experience of developing the first two parts.”
PlatinumGames is also currently working on Babylon’s fall for Square enix and prepares other unannounced projects.
