EA during the latest quarterly report, confirmed that the next Battlefield will be released not only on next-generation consoles and PC, but also on PS4 and Xbox One. The release is scheduled for Q4.
The head of the company Andrew Wilson took a look at the debut trailer last week and was deeply impressed – it will only be shown publicly next month. Funnily enough, the shooter is still called the “next generation game” despite the vast list of platforms.
The key aspects of the series remain the same – large scale and innovative system of destruction.
The shooter is produced by the largest development team in history of four studios – in addition to DICE, Criterion, EA Gothenburg (formerly Ghost) and DICE LA are working on the game.
