As part of the past online presentation Xbox Games Showcase a number of interesting announcements and new demonstrations were presented, however, viewers of the show did not receive any fresh gameplay footage of the announced return of battle frogs in 2018, which were last demonstrated only at last year’s exhibition E3.
One of the fans of the series wrote on Twitter that he was sad that he hadn’t heard about Battletoads since the announcement. IN answer development manager from the studio Dlala Studios assured that news about the project would follow soon.
However, this is not all. Another Twitter user noted that he would not be surprised if they decided to cancel the new part of Battletoads altogether. Rare’s video editor Daryl Sinclair Gardner couldn’t ignore the message.
“Take my word for it, the game will be released very soon (I’m literally editing a new trailer while I type this post),” he wrote.
Later, a Rare employee deleted the recording, but the journalists managed to take a screenshot.
The game is announced for release on Xbox one and PC.
