Back 4 Blood authors promise to make bots smarter by release

Lead Producer Back 4 blood Matt O’Driscoll from Turtle Rock Studios in conversation with VG24 / 7 shared new details of the co-op zombie shooter.
  • Versions for the past and current generation of consoles differ only in performance. The number of zombies is not platform-specific.
  • In the Fort Hope hub, the connection quality depends on the host, however, during the races, the game uses dedicated servers.
  • The developers know about requests from console players to add the ability to change the field of view (FOV).
  • On release, AI allies are promised to make them smarter.
  • The authors also promise to change the balance of difficulty levels. The main changes will affect the difficulty levels of Survivor and Nightmare.
  • The post-round stats screen has already been updated, but O’Driscoll did not share the details.

Back 4 Blood is currently in open beta testing, which will end on August 16. The game is released on October 12 on Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC, as well as Xbox Game Pass
