A Dark Souls fan from Austria under the pseudonym Damaged Cosplays has crafted the costume of Ornstein the Dragon Slayer, one of the bosses of the first game. He shared the results of his work on reddit, posting a photo in the image of a character.

Fans of the franchise appreciated the precise detailing of the suit, most of the composite parts of which are made of EVA polymer material. According to the cosplayer himself, the production of the costume took about seven months, and most of all he had difficulties with the spear – it glows in the dark and imitates the discharge of lightning, like those with which the boss attacks.

According to the game’s lore, Ornstein the Dragonslayer remained at Anor Londo Cathedral to guard the illusion of Princess Guinevere under the orders of Gwindolin, the youngest son of the Lord of Ash. He is the captain of the Four Knights, wields a unique Dragon Slayer spear and golden armor that protects him from lightning.
