ASUS has released a 2-in-1 hybrid mobile computer that can be used as a tablet or as a laptop thanks to the detachable full-size keyboard with trackpad. The device has a rugged case with rubberized corners and a textured surface with drop protection according to the MIL-STD-810H standard.
The novelty is equipped with an 8-core MediaTek Kompanio 500 (MT8183) processor with Mali-G72 graphics, 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64 or 128 GB eMMC internal memory. The tablet has a built-in 10.1-inch IPS-screen with Full HD resolution and stylus support.
Among the interfaces are USB 2.0, made in the Type-C form factor, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The tablet can work up to 11 hours after charging from a 45-watt adapter thanks to the built-in 27 Wh battery.
Chromebook Detachable CZ1 also received a main and front camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels and 2 megapixels, respectively. The price and start date of sales of the tablet were not disclosed.
