Streaming platform Netflix ordered the production of an as-yet-unnamed spy series with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro starring. For the star of “Terminator” the show will be the first television project of his career…
According to the plot, the series will tell a story in the spirit of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, only about the father and daughter. Living in a family idyll, the heroes will one day know that for many years each of them worked in secret as a CIA operative. They understand that all their inextricable relationship was a lie and in fact they do not know each other at all, but they have a common mission ahead of them with global spy intrigue, action and humor.

The studio will be responsible for the production of the project Skydance tv, and the showrunner will be Nick Santora (Law & Order, Jack Reacher, The Fugitive). Schwarzenegger will also serve as executive producer.
The first season of the series will offer eight episodes of one hour each. The timing of the start of filming and release has not yet been disclosed.
