Publishing house Thq nordic and developers from the studio Purple lamp studios announced a remake release date Spongebob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom with a note Rehydrated for current consoles and PCs. A colorful adventure about the adventures of SpongeBob and his friends will appear on June 23 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam).
Digital pre-orders are now available on the Xbox One (via Microsoft store) and PC (in Steam) Pre-orders for the Switch version will be open on April 21 at the Nintendo eShop digital store. Information for owners of the PlayStation 4 will arrive later.
According to the plot of the game, gamers have to try on roles Sponges of Bob, Patrick and Sandy, using their unique skills to prevent the evil plan of Plankton and his army of crazy robots from taking control of the underwater city of Bikini Bott.
The remake will offer players updated graphics, a new two-player mode and materials cut from the game (the boss Robosquidward and not only).
