Dota 2 fans have sharply criticized sets from the Autumnal Treasure 2023, which appeared in the game along with the Dota Plus update. They urged Valve to pay attention to the quality of sets and tighter control over the selection of cosmetic items for chests. Many users noted that the sets look too outdated, as if they were made back in 2013.

Autumnal Treasure 2023 provides sets for Disruptor, Vengeful Spirit, Witch Doctor, Shadow Demon, Tusk, Abaddon, Nature’s Prophet, Legion Commander and Dark Seer, as well as a very rare courier. Each opening of the chest will cost 10 thousand Dota Plus shards.
It should be noted that only Abaddon and Nature’s Prophet’s sets have any visual effects. All sets of the Rare category.
“There were at least a couple of decent sets in previous seasons, but the ones we’ve added now are just awful. They are even worse than those released in 2014. ”
“It seems like these are the sets that didn’t make it to the treasuries in 2012-2014.”
“I don’t mind if they return simpler sets, but they could at least update the polygon count.”
“Damn, they all look disgusting. I’m glad I don’t pay a dime for Dota Plus. “
“Come on, Valve, they look like sets from 2013!”
In a reddit thread, users confirmed that the new set for Disruptor was actually released back in 2013. Fans found his page on the Steam Workshop.

Previously, Dota 2 users complained about a bug with a seasonal treasure. Since the Summer Chest was taken off the market and the new set was not presented, players were having trouble interacting with the Shop and the Fall Landscape, which was released earlier than Autumnal Treasure 2023.
