The company provided additional information about the bug. Despite rolling out the hotfix, she announced that only a small number of device owners were experiencing an issue where their watch would not charge after switching to Eco Mode.
“To check if your Apple Watch is affected by this issue, put it on the charger you usually use and wait at least 30 minutes. If your Apple Watch still won’t charge, contact Apple Support for a free mail-order repair. Before service, your watch will be checked to ensure it meets the terms of free repair, ”says the support site.
