Apple took 40% of the Russian market of wireless headphones

AirPods are in great demand in Russia. The headphones brought the manufacturer a lot of money, allowing it to take a leading position in the segment. According to the results of the first half of the year, the share Apple in the market of wireless headphones in monetary terms amounted to 40%

The second place in terms of sales went to the company JBL with fourteen%followed by Samsung with 13%, Xiaomi with 6%, Sony and Huawei – with 4% each, reports MTS

According to Svyaznoy, Apple earned 8.2 billion rubles from sales of such devices, JBL – 2.9 billion, and Samsung – 2.6 billion

In quantitative terms, the rating is as follows:

  • JBL – 20%;
  • Xiaomi – 14%;
  • Apple – 11%;
  • Samsung – 5%;
  • Honor – 4%;
  • Huawei – 2%.

JBL sold 971 thousand wireless headphones in six months, Xiaomi – 666 thousand, Apple – 537 thousand.

MTS reports that wired headphones “for the first time lost their leadership in the number of purchased devices” – their market share was 47%, and sales fell by 18%.
