Apogee Software returns as Residual publisher – review addiction

A famous company in the past Apogee Software, known as the creator of the original Duke nukem and publisher Wolfenstein 3d, is returned in an updated form. Under a new name Apogee Entertainment she will publish independent games.

The first of the announced projects of the revived publishing house was a two-dimensional platformer Residual studio OrangePixel… In the game we find ourselves on one of the lost planets and must survive after a shipwreck in a procedurally generated world.

To survive, players will have to mine food and make fires, search for alien technology and create tools, teleporters and ship parts. In addition to hunger, space storms, predatory plants and other dangers will threaten us.

Residual will be released this fall on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. And Apogee Entertainment’s other plans are outlined in a special video.
