Studio Respawn entertainment announced the fifth season of the royal battle Apex legends starts on May 12, a week later than the planned date. The developers made this decision in order to give players more time to achieve all the awards within the current combat pass.
In addition, the developers said that they are going to complete the 4th season with a new temporary regime called Battle armor, which starts on April 28 and will last until the start of the fifth season.
In this mode, players are expected to battle on the map “End of the World”, where only one type of shield will be available, changing every few days. In addition to this, all players will start the match with the current shield and P2020 pistol, while on the map you can still find cells and batteries for the shield.
On the start day of the event, players will have access to a white shield, on May 2 it will be replaced by blue, and on May 6 – purple. Finally, on May 9, players will have at their disposal the newly added EVO shield, which becomes stronger when absorbing damage.
