A new rumor indicates that Hideo Kojima working with Sony and Konami to revive Silent Hills for Playstation 5… If reading this you have déjà vu, it’s because in recent months we have heard such a statement not for the first time.
Since the beginning of the year, there have been two widespread rumors about horror. According to the first, SIE Japan Studio teamed up with veterans of Silent Hill to softly relaunch the series, and the second reveals that Kojima and Konami have forged a relationship through Sony to revive the canceled Silent Hills.
What these rumors have in common is that the games will supposedly be PS5 exclusives, or at least get console exclusives.… But what is still unclear is whether the projects will be related, and if not, then why would Konami and Sony release two different Silent Hill?
Anyway, according to an industry insider Moore’s law is dead, Hideo Kojima is working on Silent Hills in partnership with Konami and Sony, and the project may be presented at The Game Awards 2023 on December 10… Unfortunately, the whistleblower did not reveal anything else about the game, so it is again unclear how this relates to reports of an impending Silent Hill relaunch. For now, fans can only wait for the official announcement.
