A couple of months ago a bunch of possible details about the second part surfaced on Reddit Marvel’s spider-man for Playstation 5. The new rumor repeats most of that information, including the expanded map of the game world, the extensive list of villains and the winter setting, but also adds previously unknown details.
In particular, the article claims that the sequel to Spider-Man will be announced this summer and will be released in autumn 2023.. At the same time, as in the case of the original, the continuation will remain exclusively a single player title without online elements.
It is reported that the events of the game will unfold approximately 5-6 months after the finale of the first part, but spoilers go further, so we will stop only at the moment Oscorp. In the story, the corporation will try to clone DNA to create a super-soldier, but the experiment will get out of control, which will lead to the emergence of new villains. Among the opponents of the Spider will also be Carnage, Misterio and Venom, with Harry Ozborn allegedly becoming the last, and the antagonist himself will be shown from a new perspective. The canonical carrier of Venom, Eddie Brock, will also appear in history, but with a different important role.
As part of the gameplay, developers are preparing new game mechanics, one of which should facilitate flights over low buildings, and the other will allow you to move around the city faster. The source calls it the “spider web.” Plus, an analogue of the system from Arkham knightwhere players in certain missions could freely switch between characters during the battle, the quality and variety of web animations will improve, and the flight system will have a realistic, arcade and hybrid model to choose from.
