Anno 1800 – Ubisoft revealed the sales of its strategy and organized a free weekend for the game

At the beginning of the week Ubisoft revealed the plans of the development team Blue byte on the second season strategic game Anno 1800, which starts with the release of the add-on Seat of power a couple of weeks later, on March 24 this year, and now the publisher has announced the achievement of a new milestone in the popularity of the game.

According to the creators, in December last year, Anno 1800, being available on the market for about 9 months, overcame a significant milestone of 1 million players. Thus, the new game has become the fastest-selling part of the Anno series, which delights gamers for the 21st year.

The authors reflected the main achievements using infographics:

  • to build a city volunteered more than 1 million players;
  • gamers settled more than 22 million islands, which were inhabited by 44 billion residents;
  • From buildings, players most often built warehouses, sheep farms and fire stations;
  • of ships, ships of the line, frigates, and schooners were most often built;
  • gamers complete over 200,000 World Exhibition buildings;
  • according to statistics, some players spent a total of more than 1000 hours in Anno 1800.

In honor of the celebration of such a significant event, Ubisoft invites users who have not yet bought the game to try it for free on the upcoming weekend (from March 12 to 16 this year).

During this period, gamers will have access to the first three levels of the Sandbox mode, and will also be able to test themselves in cooperative and multiplayer game modes. Preload is now available in stores Epic Games Store and Play. Thanks to the image below, you can see the start time of the free weekend. In Europe, the start will take place on March 12 at 14-00 Moscow time, and the end is scheduled for March 16 at 17-00 Moscow time.
