AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT can be overclocked quite well – review

Recently in the market appeared graphics card AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT, which turned out to be not too good at the base frequencies. However, an unofficial utility soon became available, which, it is claimed, is capable of overclocking the new product to 2.1 GHz.

Utility called MorePowerTool or MPT can work in almost all modern red cards, including with Radeon RX VII. It is alleged that it is able to “raise” the frequency to 2–2.2 GHz at almost all accelerators.

The utility itself can download on the official website of the developer, and below is a screenshot that demonstrates the capabilities of the utility. At the same time, we note that the basic indicator of the frequency is 1670 MHz. An increase to 2080 MHz should significantly improve performance.

Note that the AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT has 1408 stream processors, which means there are 22 CUs, 88 TMUs and 32 ROPs.
