AMD is preparing new budget processors based on Zen 2 architecture – review

AMD is preparing a new line of desktop processors Ryzen 3 under the socket AM4. These processors are positioned as budget solutions and should become competitors of the tenth generation Core i3. Writes about it TechPowerUp.

Two models are currently known: Ryzen 3 3100 and Ryzen 3 3300X. Both versions will receive four cores and eight threads, as well as 18 MB of total cache memory. The differences are in the maximum frequency – up to 3.9 and up to 4.3 GHz.

It is not yet specified when new processes will be released and what other specifications they will receive. We can assume that the new products will support PCI-Express 4.0, but this is only an assumption.
It is assumed that new items will cost about $ 160 (about 12 thousand rubles at the current rate, excluding taxes and fees). In Russia, prices will obviously be higher.

The release date of the Ryzen 3 3100 and Ryzen 3 3300X is not specified, but we can assume that they will see the light at about the same time as the new generation Core i3.
