The announcement of the promised processors AMD Ryzen 3 3100 and Ryzen 3 3300Xas well as the chipset AMD B550 for socket AM4. These processors are architecture based. Zen 2 and got four cores with multi-threading.
The company is positioning new items as low-cost solutions for gamers and content creators. It is argued that in games, processors provide an increase of up to 20% compared to similar solutions of competitors.
The new processors and chipset are said to be “represent the perfect solution at all levels“. Said Moshkelani, senior vice president and general manager of AMD’s client computing solutions division, said the announced solutions will improve gameplay and multitasking performance.
It remains to wait for tests to confirm or refute the brave marketing statements. Processors are due out in May, while AMD B550-based motherboards are due out in June.
