The brand Alienware recently updated its series of gaming laptops and workstations. One of the novelties was the model Alienware Area 51-m R2that got desktop processors Intel Core tenth generation. We will talk more about him.
Outwardly, the novelty is almost no different from the previous model, but inside it offers much more. Specifications look like this:
- CPU: from Intel Core i7 10700 before Intel Core i9 10900K
- RAM: up to 64 GB of type DDR4-2933 MHz
- Permanent memory: NVMe SSD up to 2 TB and HDD of the same volume
- Screen: 17.3-inch diagonal with Full HD or 4K resolution, as well as frequencies from 60 to 300 Hz
- Video card: from NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and AMD Radeon RX 5700M before NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super with 12-phase power system
- Cooling system: with 70 mm fans and five heat pipes, as well as an evaporation chamber.
The cost of the new version of Alienware Area 51-m R2 starts at $ 3,050 (almost 225 thousand rubles at the rate excluding taxes), sales will begin on June 9. The Russian price is not specified, but it will definitely be higher.
Note that such laptops may well compete even with a mobile server Eurocom tornado. As for the cost, Alienware solutions have always been analogues of Apple systems from the world of gaming PCs and laptops – expensive, prestigious, high-quality and not for everyone.
