Studio Jankenteam and publishing Merge Games last summer announced a remake of the classic platformer Alex kidd in miracle world… And now they have announced the date of its release: the game will be released on June 24 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
The original Alex Kidd in Miracle World was released on the Sega Master System, the predecessor of the Sega Mega Drive, in 1986. In terms of gameplay, this is a classic platformer, but an improved version with modern animations and backgrounds is being prepared for the remake.
Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX will include new levels and modes, including Boss Rush Mode, and rewrite the soundtrack. Classic fans will be able to switch to the original retro look with one button.
