As it turned out from an interview with the portal Collider, in the upcoming series, Agent 47 will not be bald, at least in the beginning. The author of the film franchise shared the relevant details “John Wick” Derek Kolstad, who acted as the scriptwriter of the project.
According to the scriptwriter, in the new film adaptation, Agent 47 will be “practically the same character familiar from the games.” However, here he is an independent hired hitman with hair on his head, with a curator and living his own life.… In an interview, Derek Kolstad compares Agent 47 to book hitmen from the early 70s and late 80s.
As conceived by the screenwriter, at a certain point, Agent 47 realizes that all the decisions he made were actually made for him by someone else. At the end of the episode, while in front of the mirror, he will find a barcode under his skin, which will cause him many questions, including those concerning his self-identity.
At the moment, only two episodes are scripted. The timing of the premiere, the cast, showrunner of the project and much more have not yet been approved.
