This inter-author series explores how Earth is turning into a testing ground for warring parties in the galaxy. In the process, a gene virus is being tested on the planet, which gives people superpowers.
However, some in the process remain the same as they were, while others undergo physical transformations. The first call themselves aces, and the second – jokers, after which a war begins between them.
Previously, the cycle was planned to be turned into two full-fledged series, which would be interconnected. Andrew Miller (“The Secret Circle”), but the story was deemed too dark for Hulu. Now they are looking for a new author for the film adaptation, but in what format it will be released now – it is not clear.
