Upcoming TV series “Wednesday“from Tim Burton has acquired a massive replenishment of the cast in the person of Oscar-winning Catherine Zeta-Jones (” The Legend of Zorro “), who will play in the upcoming Netflix show Morticia Addams, and her role of her husband Gomez will be played by actor Luis Guzman (“Narco”).
Jenna Ortega (Nanny, Queen of the Damned) will lead Wednesday Addams in her solo series, and all eight episodes will be directed personally by master of dark tales Tim Burton, for whom this will be the first work on a project for small screens.
It should be noted that 51-year-old Catherine Zeta-Jones and Narco season 1 star Luis Guzman are both guest stars, so they will obviously have some screen time.
According to the description, in the series, Wednesday Addams will become a student at the Nevermore Academy, where during her studies she will have to master her psychic abilities, as well as prevent a monstrous series of murders that terrify local residents, and solve a supernatural mystery that has led her parents to a dead end for 25 years.
