Head of the gaming division Microsoft Phil Spencer told that recent business the trip to Japan gave him a boost of vigor. In correspondence with users, he called local developers very creative.

According to Spencer, he managed to communicate with various game publishers and studios. They discussed the upcoming console of a new generation Xbox Series Xservice Xbox game passcloud platform Project xCloudas well as the upcoming exhibition E3 2023 and the future of the industry as a whole.

The head of the Xbox also managed to get acquainted with some unannounced games that are obviously to be expected in the title line for the Xbox Series X console.

“An amazing week in Japan. We discussed the Xbox Series X, Xbox GamePass and Project xCloud with publishers and studios. I played in announced and unannounced games, talked about the E3 2023 and the future of gaming. I always come back from Japan motivated by amazing creative people,” he wrote.

Xbox consoles have not historically been popular in Japan, but Japanese games are important to Microsoft anyway, as they are popular with western audiences. Phil Spencer even repeatedly expressed his desire to buy a Japanese studio.
