A user of the social network Twitter with the nickname MasterSalah published a picture with a question and a photo of sneakers from the French brand Louis Vuitton, Gamebomb.ru reports. The picture shows a pair of shoes on a company box. Both the sneakers and the packaging cover are decorated with many brand logos. The author of the image asked users if they see white shoes or black. He did not indicate his version, but wrote that he was confused by the answers of people. User MasterSalah saw white sneakers and created a poll. After 10 thousand votes, 54% of users voted for black. Another 44% saw white sneakers, and 2% chose the “other” option.
In the comments, Twitter users were divided, Gamebomb.ru reports. Some see white sneakers, others see black. Those who saw elements of gold color were also found. Someone seemed gray, green or even pink. Many began to write that they simply do not understand how people can see a different color. A user with the nickname inmyohmyblood stated that he saw black sneakers and did not understand how to see white shoes in the photo. After some time, he nevertheless began to see the white sneakers for some reason, only he couldn’t see them again in black, which he was very surprised.
Social media users tried to find an explanation for this illusion. Some began to say that the point was in the peculiarities of each person’s vision. Others referred to differences in display matrices of telephones and computers. Some felt that the matter was in the brightness of the image. The users did not come to a general conclusion. To many, this mystery resembled a dress in blue or white that blew up the Internet in 2015.
