Fans of the games Doom and Animal Crossing came up with a crossover with two characters from the titles – the executioner of Doom (DoomGuy) and the dog Isabelle. Fans created artworks that captured heroes fighting demons or doing household chores.
Interest in the crossover arose after it became known that Doom Eternal and Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be released on the same day – March 20, 2023. Fans of the games noted their complete opposite in terms of atmosphere and gameplay, so they found it a fun idea to combine the characters in a crossover.
Animal Crossing is a simulator of life in a village populated by talking animals. The player needs to do household chores – work in the garden, fish, establish contacts with neighbors and go shopping. In Doom, the user must confront the army of hell.
